The Summer heat has nothing on the HEAT that this book brought.Natalie...stole my heart from the get go. I love her strength and sexiness. One Monkey (her hubby) did not stop her show when he left. Honey, Natalie spread those wings and soared. Although her wings weren't the only thing she was spreading.'

Joyclyn...SCANDALOUS. I knew something was up from the beginning but I had NO idea ALL of THAT was up. She's just rearing her ugly ways up all over the place. Conniving, Controlling and Sneaky are only a few descriptions to describe this chic.

So I love this book but I'm wondering why can't I purchase the 2nd one let alone find it anywhwere. Can anyone help me with purchasing the 2nd book?
This story grabs you from page one! This is the story of Jane who is newly separated. She meets a new friend in Joy who is not who she seems to be. Jane soon learns there is life after her marriage to her childhood sweetheart and she is coming into her own, but at what price??
Kudos Ms. Newhouse!! Once again you have brought the house down with a superb, multi-character and intricate story. BRING ON PART II!!!!
I am dying to find out what is up with Jocelyn. Miss plain jane is a little loose she has created a monster.
Excellent story!!! I've become a fan of Tamika Newhouse after reading a couple of her other books. Her stories, I can relate to and really they are about real life. Any woman, any age, can find themselves in her writing. This story was so good, I can hardly wait for the next installment!
This book was really slow! I can't say nothing exciting happened at all. I felt as if I was reading the same thing over and over no matter what character I was reading about. It was a quick read for me, I would read Part 2 only if it was 99 cents
I like the fact that the author didn't have overscripted sex scenes . It was just enough but they were well written and the story was well told .the storyline was true to its title . Plain jane wasn't so plain jane after all I loved that jane wasn't so forgiving to her husband . I would like to see were they end up.Joy is a sneaky hefier i had a feeling about her. It seemed soon as the plot twisted the book ended. That was my only problem.
Ok sooo Tamika got a banger for y’all. This was a cute story, Natalie showed a lot of growth in this story after being left by her young sweethearts/husband. She started finding her self and discovering who she was. This story showed the down fall of young marriages, not in a bad way but it just showed the important of enjoying youth, life experiences and discovering self first before getting tied down. This book was funny, sexually explorative and growth. Great storyline, entertaining and funny!
