I really like this book and RECOMMEND it to anyone wanting to read a true love story. The couple had a lot going against them but worked together to make it through. Love is hard, Love is sweet, and Love is a lot of work. Sometimes others don't understand your love, but as long as the couple does they can make it happen. This is the story of Dustin and Chloe and their struggle to keep the deep love they have for each other. People shun them, talk about them, and some want to destroy them. But the strength they have bond their love stronger than anyone group of people could tear them apart. Dustin was an old soul wrapped in a handsome package, he understood his heart and gave it freely to Chloe. Chloe had a lot of problems with her ex-husband and best friend. But her love for Dustin pushed her forward. Richard was insane, nothing else to say about him. I wish the author had written a part to let us know that Richard was arrested for his crimes and given some closure to that part of the story. I RECOMMEND THIS BOOK BECAUSE THE STORY IS OF SWEET LOVE BETWEEN TWO PEOPLE WITH STRUGGLES. BUT AN UNENDING LOVE FOR EACH OTHER.Product details

This was a very interesting book I would've never thought Chloe and Dustin would be a item this book had be looking at my own friends crazy lol I had mixed feelings with their relationship so I understood Vanessa but I recommend this book to anybody
I like the twist to this secret lovers story...it caused discussions in my family and no one would forgive close but I would...I enjoyed this book it was nothing less than a page turner...thumbs up as artists miss west now I hv to find books by Mr hoopper because this book was bomb
How would you feel if your best friend of 30 years fell in love with your 20 year old son???? That's what happened in this book. Friendship and love is tested. This was a nice romantic story of how age ain't nothing but a number and how love can conquer all.
I loved this book. It kept me on the edge of my seat as I followed the characters through the streets filled with drugs and warlords. I loved how she was able to keep so many secrets even with a underlying innocence from growing up so fast and having to learn the rules of the streets while protecting your own family. Reminded me so much of the neighborhood where I grew up in Cleveland. This is a must read for men and women alike.
Great storyline, great plot, and an amazing story about love, friendship, and trust. Chloe found herself in a situation unintentionally, and her friendship got tested with her best friend, as well as her love and trust for Dustin.
Dustin was a strong man who believed and know what he wanted and wasn't afraid of standing up for that, even though it took standing up to his mother.
Glad Adina got what she deserved. During the story, I kept wondering why hadn't Chloe's soon to be ex-husband, Richard, been caught and locked up.
Overall, it was a great read. A page turner.
Cuddles to both authors. A very good love story. A real life love story. At the begining I thought the secret was that Chloe was involved with her mother's man, never crossed my mind it was her best friend's son. You go Chloe with your cougar self. I just love love stories that end happily ever after. You two should work together again in the near future. Great job, great read.
I so loved this book! IT WAS A REFRESHING READ! 20 YEAR OLD DUSTIN, FALLS IN LOVE WITH 38 YEAR OLD CHLEO, IF THAT WAS NOT ENOUGH, TRY ADDING THE FACT THAT CHLEO AND DUSTINS'S MOM HAS BEEN FRIENDS FOR OVER 30 YEARS. THEIR SECRET LOVE AFFAIR WAS EXPOSED WITH DUSTIN'S EX ACCUSED HIM AND HIS FRIENDS OF GANG RAPING HER AT A PARTY. THIS SETS OFF AN UNFORTUNATE CHAIN OF EVENTS THAT ONLY TIME WOULD TELL IF THE LOVE THEY SHARED WITH ONE ANOTHER WAS REAL AND ALSO WOULD IT LAST.
FROM THE VERY FIRST CHAPTER TO THE LAST, THIS BOOK KEPT MY ATTENTION. I COULD NOT STOP READING UNTIL I FINISHED. THIS WAS A WONDERFUL COLLABORATION FROM TWO OF URBAN LIT HOTTEST AUTHORS. CONGRATS ON JOB WELL DONE!
