I am only giving this 3 stars because of misspelled words, omitted words. or wrong word choice. Also, throughout this book and more so in this one verses in Books 1 and 2, the author repeatedly repeats background information on the characters. For me this was redundant and only included to create pages. I found myself skipping through these parts. The story and plot are good. Character develop was good. The trilogy ends and leaves the door open for additional books. After three books I start to loose interest and very seldom will continue with a series after that, Harry Potter was the exception for meProduct details

Great continuation of the story. Moves very fast with many important battles won and lost. Hero continues to grow and builds a great group of allies along the way. Relationships between characters are finally firmly established as the war and battle for control come to an important head. Will be eager to read the conclusion.
I enjoyed the series but the author needs to watch his use of the word but. He uses it so much it was becoming a distraction. Also the editor needs to do a better job. The are extra letter, extra words, misspellings and missing words throughout the three books. I hope to see more by this author, but without the errors that pulled my attention away from the story.
I thoroughly enjoyed the first two books. I wanted to enjoy this book as well. The writer appears to have decided that he can squeeze a few more books out of what should have been a successful trilogy. Instead of closing out a nice adventure with respectable characters, he throws every fantasy creature he knows at his book in the hopes that some of them stick. All of this occurring near the end of the book.
The trilogy could have clearly been closed out, but now it's a ship heading to sea without direction much like it's characters at the end of the book.
I will have to be short on reading material to pursue the next installment of this "series".
This fantasy novel was excellent! The kind of book you can't put down. Although this is the third in the series, it can also stand alone as a good book.

The author has really set an example for other to follow. The entire series is a page Turner with enough twist to keep you enthralled throughout the book.
